About Us:
We are working with dynamic and inclusive primary school in Southwark that is looking for a motivated graduate to join their team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. The role is ideal for an aspiring primary school teacher looking to gain invaluable hands-on experience before starting teacher training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils across various subjects, both in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis.
- Work closely with the Learning Support Department.
- Collaborate with teaching staff.
- Promote positive behaviours.
- Be optimistic, hard-working, enthusiastic and creative.
- Assist in preparing classroom materials and contribute to extra-curricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: A degree in any discipline
- Experience: Some recent experience working with young people
- Knowledge: Some understanding of supporting pupils
- Desirable: aspiring future primary teacher
