Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School, Haringey
Salary: £95 - £110 per day
Contract: Full-time

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive primary school in Haringey. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education, working with children across a variety of settings.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Work 1:1 with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them access the curriculum effectively.
  • Facilitate small group activities, including interventions to support learning, emotional well-being, and social development.
  • Assist in classroom management and the preparation of learning materials.
  • Provide pastoral care and encouragement to students, helping to foster a positive and nurturing environment.


Requirements:

  • A graduate-level qualification (essential).
  • A valid DBS on the update service (essential).
  • Relevant experience working with children, particularly in educational or SEND settings (essential).
  • A proactive, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting children's learning and development.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
