An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a prestigious independent primary school located in Balham. This full-time position offers the chance to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils' learning and development in a dynamic and nurturing environment.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting class teachers in delivering high-quality education. You will provide support to individual pupils or small groups, help manage classroom activities, and contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils to enhance learning outcomes.
• Support children with additional needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum.
• Supervise pupils during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities, fostering a well-rounded educational experience.

• Qualifications: A recent graduate, ideally with a degree related to education or child development.
• Experience: Previous experience working with children is desirable, but not essential.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for working with young learners and supporting their growth.
• Commitment: Full-time availability from April 2025 and a willingness to engage fully in school life.
