The Role:

  • Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom support and work closely with teachers to help pupils thrive academically and socially. Many pupils in the school benefit from targeted support for SEN, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring they reach their potential.



Your Responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils, particularly those with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and adapting resources for individual pupils.
  • Support pupils in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with staff to monitor progress and implement strategies to support pupil development.


What We're Looking For:

  • A recent graduate with a strong interest in education and supporting children with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a desire to make a difference.
  • Experience working with children (paid or voluntary) is advantageous but not essential.
