This role is ideal for an ambitious graduate looking to build a strong foundation in teaching, special educational needs (SEN), or child development.
The Role:
- Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant.
- Salary: 80-100 per day, based on experience.
- Location: Waltham Forest, East London.
- Start Date: Immediate.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support children across KS1 and KS2, working closely with experienced teachers to deliver engaging lessons and provide 1:1 or small-group interventions for pupils who require additional academic or behavioural support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils needing additional learning support.
- Assist with phonics, reading, numeracy, and language development.
- Support pupils with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
- Help teachers deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to pupils' needs.
- Gain experience in classroom behaviour management and differentiation strategies.
What We're Looking For:
- A graduate in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or a related field.
- A passion for child development, teaching, and inclusive education.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive, positive, and patient attitude towards supporting children.
- An interest in teacher training, educational psychology, or SEN support.
