The Role - Head of History and Politics
•   Lead and develop the History and Politics curriculum, ensuring a challenging and engaging learning experience.
•   Teach across KS3-KS5, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire a passion for historical inquiry and political debate.
•   Support and mentor a team of teachers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
•   Use data-driven approaches to track student progress, implementing strategies to maximise attainment.
•   Promote critical thinking, debate, and historical analysis, encouraging students to engage with complex ideas.
•   Contribute to the wider school community, including extra-curricular clubs, trips, and events.
Who We Are Looking For - Head of History and Politics
•   QTS and experience teaching History and Politics at secondary level (A-Level experience preferred).
•   A proven track record of success, with strong outcomes in GCSE and A-Level results.
•   Experience in leading or managing a department or a desire to take the next step in leadership.
•   An ability to inspire and support students of all abilities, fostering a love of History and Politics.
•   Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to collaboration and continuous professional development.
•   A passionate and reflective teacher who is eager to contribute to a thriving and ambitious school community.
