Higher Learning Teaching Assistant | Greenwich (SE2) | 110- 130 per day | Full Time | ASAP

Long Term Futures is proud to be partnering with a thriving secondary school in Greenwich SE2. We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their exceptional team. About the Role:

The purpose of the HLTA is to support the children with their learning and general wellbeing and to ensure every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment

  • Assisting with report writing and maintaining accurate records
  • Support students in their learning, establishing productive working relationships and providing feedback
  • Support teachers by teaching groups of students, planning lessons and administering and marking tests
  • Support the curriculum by delivering learning activities in line with local and national learning strategies, and selecting and preparing resources necessary to lead learning activity

About You:

  • A loving and caring person who genuinely wants to work with and support children
  • Holds relevant A-level (NQF Level 3) and NVQ Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths; additional subject-specific or specialist qualifications preferred.
  • Evidence of subject specialism and familiarity with specific learning difficulties or curriculum areas.
  • No formal training required initially, just a willingness to learn and grow within a supportive environment
