Are you a passionate Teacher of IT and Computing looking for your next role in education? Tradewind is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity to join one of Southwest London's top schools. We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic, and successful Teacher to teach IT and Computing to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

IT and Computing Department:

This is an exciting time for the ICT Department, which has achieved outstanding results over the last decade. The curriculum has been restructured to include Computer Science and essential ICT skills needed for the modern workplace. The department is well-staffed, including a Head of Department and three full-time teachers who teach from KS3 through to KS5.

Facilities:

The school boasts impressive computer facilities with approximately 600 computers connected to the network, including 8 specialist ICT suites and a Sixth Form Learn Centre with 50 computers. Every classroom is equipped with a desktop computer and an interactive whiteboard.

Curriculum:

ICT is taught as a discrete subject to all students in Years 7-11.

Creative I-Media and the ECDL are taught to Years 10-11 for 1 period a week.

Computing and Applied ICT courses are offered at A level in the Sixth Form.

The department has developed an online curriculum with teaching materials accessible to students outside of class.
