Role Overview:
- Position: Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant
- Location: Lambeth
- Start Date: Immediate
- Contract: Full-Time / Long-Term
- Salary: £102 - £115 per day (Dependent on experience)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant who:
- Has experience working with young children in a primary school setting.
- Can provide academic and pastoral support to pupils, helping them to stay engaged and motivated.
- Is confident in assisting with phonics, early reading, and numeracy activities.
- Can build positive relationships with children, supporting their emotional well-being and social development.
- Works well as part of a team, collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Has a proactive and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of pupils with different learning styles.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support students in their learning by delivering small-group interventions and one-to-one support.
- Assist with phonics, reading, and early maths activities to enhance children's confidence and progress.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage social interaction and engagement through structured play and group activities.
- Provide a safe, calm, and nurturing space where students feel supported in their development.
