Role Overview:

Position: Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Lambeth
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-Time / Long-Term
Salary: £102 - £115 per day (Dependent on experience)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant who:

Has experience working with young children in a primary school setting.
Can provide academic and pastoral support to pupils, helping them to stay engaged and motivated.
Is confident in assisting with phonics, early reading, and numeracy activities.
Can build positive relationships with children, supporting their emotional well-being and social development.
Works well as part of a team, collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Has a proactive and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of pupils with different learning styles.

Your Responsibilities:

Support students in their learning by delivering small-group interventions and one-to-one support.
Assist with phonics, reading, and early maths activities to enhance children's confidence and progress.
Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Encourage social interaction and engagement through structured play and group activities.
Provide a safe, calm, and nurturing space where students feel supported in their development.
