Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant – Lambeth - Immediate

Role Details:
- Position: Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant
- Location: Lambeth
- Start Date: Immediate
- Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term
- Salary: £103 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted academic support to individuals and small groups to enhance learning.
- Assist teachers in preparing lesson materials and classroom activities.
- Support pupils in developing literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Foster positive social interactions and encourage cooperative learning.
- Help manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers to support tailored instruction.
- Assist in creating a stimulating and engaging classroom environment.
- Support children with transitions between activities and throughout the school day.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience working in a school and SEN setting.
- Ability to support children with SEN and challenging behaviours.
- A positive, energetic, and supportive approach to engaging pupils.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with staff.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.
- The ability to adapt and be flexible in supporting a variety of learning needs.
