About the Role of a Lecturer:Morgan Hunt is seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals who are looking for work as a Lecturer to join our agency. We work with the best leading Further Education and Training Colleges across London and you will play a crucial part in delivering excellent education within these clients. As a Lecturer, you will inspire and guide students to achieve their academic goals in whichever area they are learning. The ideal candidates will be passionate about teaching, dedicated to student success and able to deliver lessons that are engaging, cohesive and tailored to a range of learners.

Key Duties of a Lecturer:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons in your specific subject area.
  • Planning and preparing lessons to meet the needs of learners at various levels.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and performance.
  • Creating a positive learning environment that motivates and engages students.
  • Working with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and departmental activities as required.

Key Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching within the Further Education and training sector or a similar educational setting.
  • An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
  • Strong communication, organisational and social skills.
  • The ability to adapt to different teaching environments, including face-to-face and online.
  • A genuine passion for guiding learners and contributing to their success.

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching your specific subject at Further Education and Training level.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and online teaching platforms.
  • Ability to engage and support students with a range of learning needs.
