Join our academic team as a full-time Lecturer in Science, specialising in Physics. This role is based in a dynamic educational environment in North West London, where you will contribute to the teaching of various science courses, including A Level, BTEC Science, GCSE, Access to HE, and T Levels.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Physics across different levels up to Level 3, including A Level and BTEC.
- Develop and prepare educational materials and lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through both formative and summative assessments.
- Provide guidance and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching methodologies and share best practices.
- Degree in Science, with a specialisation in Physics.
- Proven teaching experience in the subject area up to Level 3, including A Level, T Levels, and/or BTEC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and inspiring students aged 16-18.
- Commitment to professional development; willingness to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification if not already possessed (financial support provided by the College).
- Full financial support for obtaining a Level 5 teaching qualification if needed.
