Mathematics Teacher (2iC) – Southwark – April / September 2025

Are you an experienced, qualified teacher ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated 2iC of Mathematics to join our high-achieving, diverse, and supportive secondary school in Southwark.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £38,766 - £60,094 (MPS Inner London) + TLR, Pension Scheme (TPS), and other school benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deputise for the Subject Coordinator and help lead the development of outstanding teaching and learning
• Be accountable for student progress across KS3, KS4, and Post-16, ensuring targets are met
• Oversee the delivery of a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum aligned with school policies
• Lead the development of literacy within the subject area
• Mentor and support staff, ensuring high standards and continuous improvement
• Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the subject, including curriculum development and assessment strategies

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
• At least one year of teaching experience with proven success in raising student achievement
• Strong ICT skills and the ability to embed technology in the classroom
• A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Leadership experience or a desire to progress in a leadership role
