A large, popular 6th form college in North London are looking for a qualified and experienced Media Studies Teacher to join their staff team to teach BTEC Media Studies.

The Role

In this role you will be a full-time Media Studies Teacher taking responsibility for preparation, planning and teaching for the two-year Media Studies BTEC course. This course is designed to prepare students for a degree in media and covers both theoretical and practical production skills in film editing, photography and documentary development.

 The school are looking for a Media Studies teacher with the following:

• A relevant post-16 teaching qualification or extensive teaching experience
• A proactive and engaging teaching approach
• Strong classroom management to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students
• Ability to use ICT effectively.
