Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursing Lecturer to join our dynamic team at a well-established institution in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and supporting students in their studies within the field of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and interactive lessons in Nursing to students at various levels.
- Designing and developing curriculum materials and assessments in line with the Nursing program.
- Providing academic support and mentorship to students, ensuring they meet course objectives and professional standards.
- Assessing and evaluating student performance, providing constructive feedback.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory standards in Nursing.
- Contributing to departmental meetings and participating in professional development opportunities.
- A registered nurse with a valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- A relevant teaching qualification (such as a PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) or a commitment to obtaining one.
- Experience in teaching or tutoring within a Nursing or healthcare-related environment is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of current Nursing practices and the healthcare sector.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Experience working in Higher Education or delivering modules at the undergraduate/postgraduate level.
- Specialist knowledge in areas such as Mental Health Nursing, Adult Nursing, or Pediatric Nursing.
