The Role - One-to-One Teaching Assistant

  • Provide tailored support to a Year 3 student with MLD, helping them access the curriculum.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement effective learning strategies.
  • Assist with academic tasks, communication, and social development.
  • Create a nurturing and structured environment to encourage progress.
  • Monitor and report on the student's progress to support their learning journey.


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in SEN support.
  • Understanding of MLD and strategies to support children with additional needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards learning.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
