An outstanding East London primary school are looking for a graduate teaching assistant to join the school immediately on a full time basis.

This role would suit a Graduate who wants to become a teacher and is looking for the opportunity to gain invaluable school based experience ahead of teacher training.

The successful graduate will be joining an outstanding Newham primary school who are committed to supporting graduates who are embarking on their teaching career.

You will need to be a recent graduate with some recent form of experience with young people. You may have gained this experience a number of ways such as voluntary school work, University placements, tutoring, youth work….. You will also ideally be an aspiring primary school teacher who is looking to develop existing experience ahead of teacher training.

As a graduate teaching assistant you will be working in an allocated class within years 1 - year 5 alongside an experienced class teacher. You will be supporting students within the class covering all areas of the primary curriculum.
