A specialist Pupil Referral Unit in Wandsworth, Southwest London, the site cater to 60 children of secondary ages who have struggled to access mainstream education. The students have been referred to the site for a variety of reasons, such as: having an EHCP, being permanently excluded or having prolonged periods of absence from school.

The Role - PRU Teaching Assistant

In this role as a PRU Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students across KS3 and KS4 who have struggled to remain in mainstream education. The needs of the students at this site can be challenging, so the ideal PRU Teaching Assistant will have prior experience of supporting within a Pupil Referral Unit (although experience of working within an SEMH school will also be relevant).
