A school I am working with in the Borough of Barnet, is looking for a Psychology Graduate to bring into their supportive cohort. I am looking for a competent Psychology Graduate to fulfil this role as a SEND Learning Support Assistant, supporting students with a range of needs. The ideal candidate would not only be a Psychology Graduate but also have gained some experience supporting individuals with additional needs.

Psychology Graduate | About the job:

  • A Psychology Graduate will be paid up to £106.00/day | Inclusive of Holiday Pay | Paid weekly in arrears via PAYE
  • Responsibilities for a Psychology Graduate: making sure students work towards their EHCP targets, supporting children with the curriculum, supporting students pastorally, communicating with staff and parents.
  • A Psychology Graduate will have outstanding knowledge on SEND and A-Typical Development.
  • This role will see applicants support children with SEND such as but not limited to; ASD, SEMH, SaL needs, Physical Disabilities and ADHD. 
  • To apply for the Psychology Graduate role, you should be a Psychology Graduate with a strong academic record at Degree, A-Level and GCSE level.
  • Full training will be provided, as well as opportunities for CPD (Continued Professional Development).
  • Initial Short Term Contract lasting until July 2025, but with the opportunity to carry on with the school if the first year goes well!
