Q - Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain further experience supporting children / young people with additional needs (SEN), ahead of your masters, PHD or Assistant Psychologist roles with the NHS?
Remedy are looking to find Psychology Graduates who will specialise in supporting students with SEN in a school based in Greenwich.
We are now looking for graduates with similar aspirations to work as Graduate Teaching Assistants / Psychology Graduate / Therapists. These roles are perfect for you to gain the experience needed for your MA's, MSc's or PHD's, or even Assistant Psychologist roles within the NHS.
Graduates will have the opportunity to work alongside truly world-class; CAMHS Link Workers, Mental Health Professionals, Special Assistant Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO) and Specialist on-site teachers, all of which have multiple years industry experience!
What will you do day to day? - Psychology Graduates - Teaching Assistants
- Supervising and supporting identified children with SEN / Additional Needs in 1:1, group or whole class situations, ensuring their safety and access to learning in a purposeful and supportive learning environment.
- Assisting in supporting identified children's progress and providing feedback on their achievements, progress and needs.
- Leading small group sessions and interventions as appropriate.
- Attending to children's personal needs where required.
- Supporting with behaviour management - mild needs
- Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities to ensure achievement of learning goals.
- Assisting with the supervision of children out of lesson times, including playtimes and undertaking lunchtime duty.
- Provide a safe, comfortable and positive experience for children with additional needs, with support from the class teacher and school staff
What are we looking for - Psychology Graduates - Teaching Assistants
- A graduate in any relatable degree - with a 1:1 or 2:1 classification
- Strong academics through A-Level / BTEC's and GCSEs
- Previous experience supporting children; if this is in a school based setting PERFECT
- This can also include; Tutoring, Babysitting, Summer Camps, Support Work, Voluntary SEN Work and anything else children related!
- A hard-working nature, friendly, confident - a willingness to learn and really develop your career in a fantastic, nurturing school

- ASAP Start - Long Term - Full Time (5 days per week, Mon-Fri)
- 100 - 105 per day - Paid weekly
- Working school hours, typically 8:30am - 4:00pm
