Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics Specialist to join our team as a Science Lecturer. In this role, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Physics, helping students to develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in Physics, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to foster an interactive and dynamic learning environment.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and the maintenance of high academic standards.

Essential Criteria:
  • A degree in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching Physics at A-levels, BTEC, or equivalent.
  • Passion for Physics and education, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous experience teaching Physics within a further education or secondary school setting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of developments and best practices in science education.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Experience with curriculum design and development.
