We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher, specializing in Physics, to join our prestigious independent day school for girls. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality education and making a significant impact in the lives of students.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons across science disciplines, with a particular focus on Physics.
  • Utilize various teaching methods and technological tools to enhance learning experiences and meet diverse educational needs.
  • Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment, implementing effective classroom management strategies.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and exams.
  • Prepare students for standardized science tests and post-secondary entrance examinations.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff and communicate effectively with parents to support student learning and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Specialization in Physics, with proficiency in teaching other science subjects such as Biology and Chemistry.
  • Proven experience in teaching science at the secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A strong passion for education and a commitment to fostering academic and personal growth in students.
