Are you a graduate with a passion for supporting children?
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant 3-form entry school, supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour.

About the Role:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support for students with SEMH and challenging behaviour.

  • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans to help students reach their full potential.

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the effective inclusion of all students.

  • Help create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment.

  • Support students in developing social skills and emotional regulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in both classroom and pastoral settings.

  • Promote positive behaviour management strategies.

  • Help students build confidence and resilience through tailored interventions.

  • Monitor and track students' progress and report to the class teacher.

  • Assist with the delivery of lessons and engage students in learning activities.

About You:

  • A graduate or someone with experience working with children (particularly those with SEMH and challenging behaviour) is ideal, but not essential.

  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children.

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding practices.

  • A commitment to supporting students with a variety of learning needs.
