We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEND Lecturer to join our Supported & Inclusive Learning team. This role is essential for developing student's communication, independence, employability, and life skills through specialised teaching strategies. Experience working with learners with complex needs is crucial.

SEND Lecturer

  • Location: East London
  • Job Type: Part-time ( Mon, Tue and Wed)
  • Pay: £25-£35ph
  • Contract Duration: Until July 2025

Day-to-day of the role of an SEND Lecturer :

  • Deliver the curriculum effectively through a variety of different learning strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with students and parents/carers as appropriate.
  • Provide learners with appropriate tutorial support in accordance with the programme and individual requirements.
  • Develop student’s communication, independence, employability, and life skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Recognised Teaching qualification
  • Proven experience of working with learners with complex needs.
  • Ability to deliver a variety of learning strategies tailored to special needs education.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with students and parents/carers effectively.
  • Experience in teaching Art is desirable but not essential.
