SEND Teaching Assistant position in Greenwich

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a highly rated school in Greenwich. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work in an enriching environment and make a meaningful impact on SEN students.


About the Role:
  • Start Date: September
  • Contract type: Long term, full-time, temporary contract until July 2025.
  • Pay: £95.00 – £105.00 per day (holiday pay included).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work 1:1 with vulnerable students, covering a variety of SEN needs as a Teaching Assistant.

  • Monitor & report on students’ progress throughout the school year, adapting your support strategies where appropriate.

Essential Requirements:

  • Sound understanding of SEN behaviours, interventions and strategies, with previous experience in a relevant field.
  • A passion for creating an enriching experience for all involved in a SEND academic environment.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
