I am currently looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and welcoming primary school in Putney. The role is to start ASAP, so if you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), this could be the perfect opportunity!

About the Role:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the school’s dedicated teaching staff to support students with a range of SEND needs. Your role will involve assisting with day-to-day classroom activities, offering 1:1 support to children with individual learning plans, and helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supporting students with SEND in their academic, social, and emotional development.

- Working closely with teachers to plan and deliver tailored support.

- Providing 1:1 assistance to students with specific learning needs.

- Encouraging a positive, safe, and supportive environment for all children.

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience working with children with SEND, particularly in a primary school setting.

- Patience, empathy, and dedication to helping children achieve their potential.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.

- An understanding of various SEND needs, such as ASD, ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties.
