SEND Teaching Assistant

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored support to students with a range of needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and moderate learning difficulties (MLD).
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students' academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with students, helping them gain confidence and independence.

• Previous experience in an SEN-focused role is preferable, though newly qualified professionals are encouraged to apply.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A compassionate and proactive approach to working with children.
