About the Role:As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to students with a range of needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and moderate learning difficulties (MLD).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students' academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students, helping them gain confidence and independence.
- Previous experience in an SEN-focused role is preferable, though newly qualified professionals are encouraged to apply.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A compassionate and proactive approach to working with children.
