GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wandsworth. About the RoleAs a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND.
- Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored interventions and adapt learning materials.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment to help students achieve their full potential.
- Support students with diverse needs, including SEMH, autism, and physical disabilities.
- Help implement personalised Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Previous experience in an SEN setting is preferable but not essential.
- A proactive, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting students with additional needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
