An outstanding Secondary School located in the London Borough of Ealing are looking to secure an SEND Teaching Assistant/ Graduate Teaching Assistant to start asap on an ongoing assignment.

The School

This school is an outstanding non-selective secondary school located in the London borough of Ealing. They have been an outstanding school for the last decade and have consistently achieved excellent exam results putting them in the top 5% for student progress. Many of the children who attend the school go to study at Russell brick universities.

They have fantastic modern facilities in a university campus layout, extensive IT facilities, large outdoor playing fields and one of the largest post 16 centres in London.

SEN Teaching Assistant/ Graduate Teaching Assistant

The school is looking for a number of ambitions SEND Teaching Assistants to start asap to join their growing team. The successful candidates and will be expected to run small group activities and 1:1 intervention as required..

The main duties will include:

  • Working alongside the Class Teacher to use your own initiative to enthuse students' learning
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom
  • To work alongside the other LSAs in maintaining a stimulating Resource Base
  • To be able to discuss observations of students' work and assist the teacher in planning for the development of their learning
  • Keeping records of students' learning and progress and use this information alongside the teacher to recognise achievement and to assist the students in setting targets for further improvement in learning
