As a Senior Bids Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the entire bid process, from opportunity identification to final submission. This is a high-impact role where your strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will directly contribute to securing new, high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the bid process from start to finish, ensuring all submissions are of the highest quality and meet deadlines.
Work closely with senior leadership, project teams, and business development to develop compelling proposals.
Collaborate with design and technical teams to gather and articulate the practice’s unique value proposition for each opportunity.
Oversee the preparation and review of tender documents, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
Provide strategic input on bid content and presentation to effectively position the practice in a competitive market.
Manage bid trackers and reporting systems, ensuring all information is accurately documented and accessible.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external consultants.
Ideal Candidate:
5+ years of experience in bids management, ideally within the architecture, design, or construction sectors.
Proven experience in leading successful bids and producing high-quality tender submissions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign preferred), and bid management software.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a keen interest in contributing to the practice's growth.
