GSL Education London are seeking a dedicated Social Science Teacher to join schools in Tower Hamlets on a temporary basis.

As a Social Science Teacher, you will create and deliver engaging lessons across various key stages, ensuring students grasp key concepts. You'll design innovative lesson plans that align with the curriculum and provide personalised support through one-to-one or small group sessions to enhance student learning and success.

Responsibilities of Social Science Teacher:

  • Teach Social Science-related subjects to students in a classroom environment.
  • Create engaging lesson plans and design a syllabus according to the curriculum.
  • Prepare lessons aligned with Key Stages to ensure a comprehensive understanding of Social Science.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, tailoring lessons to their needs.

  • Work collaboratively with other teaching staff to contribute to the school's educational goals.

Social Science Teacher Job Requirements:

  • Holding QTS or equivalent such as QTLS, PGCE, or ECT is mandatory.
  • A degree in Social Science or an education-related field is essential.
  • Previous experience as a Social Science Teacher is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A strong passion for teaching and supporting students in their academic journey.
