Are you a passionate Social Science Teacher looking for an exciting part-time opportunity? GSL Education London Branch is seeking a dedicated educator to join a comprehensive girls’ school in Tower Hamlets and inspire students in key subjects, including Health and Social Care, Social Studies, Citizenship, and PSHE.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Health and Social Care, Social Studies, Citizenship, and PSHE.
  • Inspire students to develop critical thinking, empathy, and an understanding of social and cultural issues.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure academic growth.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and participate in school events.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Social Science subjects, including Health and Social Care, Social Studies, Citizenship, and PSHE.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young learners.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Valid DBS registered on the update service.
