GSL Education London Branch are actively seeking a Social Science Teacher to join a vibrant girl’s secondary school in Haringey. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Science Teacher who is passionate about making a positive impact on young people’s lives and advancing their knowledge in social sciences.

As a Social Science Teacher, you’ll inspire students across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love for social sciences and encouraging critical thinking skills in the classroom. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and committed Social Science Teacher who can bring their subject to life and motivate students to excel.

Social Science Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons as a Social Science Teacher for KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Assess and track student progress, adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports academic growth.
  • Encourage positive student behaviour and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support school goals and student success.

Social Science Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience as a Social Science Teacher.
  • Strong subject knowledge in social sciences, with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
  • Proven ability to create an engaging and dynamic classroom experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Right to work in the UK and a strong commitment to safeguarding.
