An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Social Sciences Teacher to join a vibrant coeducational secondary school in Haringey. The school is looking for a Social Sciences Teacher who can make a real impact on students' learning and development.
As a Social Sciences Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Social Sciences across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring that students are engaged and motivated to learn. You will play a vital role in shaping students' understanding of important social topics and helping them develop critical thinking skills.
Social Sciences Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Social Sciences to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the Social Sciences curriculum.
- Inspire students to engage with topics such as Sociology, Psychology, and related subjects.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Support students' personal development and help them achieve their full potential.
Social Sciences Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Social Sciences at KS3 and KS4 is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Sociology, Psychology, and related disciplines.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to create engaging and innovative lesson plans.
- Commitment to student success and well-being.
