An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Social Sciences Teacher to join a vibrant coeducational secondary school in Haringey. If you have a passion for Social Sciences and are committed to inspiring young minds, this is the perfect role for you. The school is looking for a Social Sciences Teacher who can make a real impact on students' learning and development.

As a Social Sciences Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Social Sciences across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring that students are engaged and motivated to learn. You will play a vital role in shaping students' understanding of important social topics and helping them develop critical thinking skills.

Social Sciences Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Social Sciences to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the Social Sciences curriculum.
  • Inspire students to engage with topics such as Sociology, Psychology, and related subjects.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Support students' personal development and help them achieve their full potential.

Social Sciences Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Social Sciences at KS3 and KS4 is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Sociology, Psychology, and related disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and innovative lesson plans.
  • Commitment to student success and well-being.
