Are you an energetic and motivated individual with a passion for physical education and behaviour mentoring? Long Term Futures are looking for a PE Coach/Behaviour Mentor Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Islington, N1, supporting Year 5 students.
This long-term role offers a fantastic opportunity to combine your skills in sports and behaviour support while contributing to an engaging and nurturing school environment.
Role Details:
- Start Date: 20th January 2025
- Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Location: Islington, N1

Responsibilities:
- Supporting Year 5 students in PE lessons and during class-based activities.
- Assisting with swimming lessons, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all students.
- Acting as a positive behaviour mentor, promoting good conduct and engagement.
- Collaborating with the class teacher and PE staff to deliver structured activities.
- Building strong relationships with students to encourage their development and confidence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school or sports coaching environment is desirable.
- Confidence in managing groups of children in both classroom and sports settings.
- A proactive and energetic approach to support learning and behaviour.
- Ability to build rapport and foster a positive atmosphere for students.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to apply).
