This inclusive and support primary school in the heart of Kilburn are looking for strong graduate teaching assistants with a passion for passing on their knowledge. As a teaching assistant you will be based inside and outside of the classroom, providing support to the class teacher, pupils and SEN (special educational needs) students. You will help with setting up the classroom, preparing materials, supervising children in groups and 1:1, work with slower learners, ensuring good behaviour and much more!
This role is to start from September and will be on a long-term contract basis, it is full time and the hours will be 8:30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.
This is an amazing opportunity for an aspiring teacher, as this primary school is able to offer the successful teaching assistant a permanent contract from September 2025 along with the potential to assist you in teacher training. If you're looking for a role within education but not as teacher, you will also have the chance to work alongside childcare professionals such as trained and specialist therapists, the SENCO and other out side agencies.
