Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education and will play a key role in helping students achieve their academic potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with classroom management and organisation.
  • Support individual students and small groups with their learning activities.
  • Help prepare lesson materials and resources.
  • Provide support to students with special educational needs.
  • Supervise students during non-classroom times including in-between classes, during lunch, and on field trips.
  • Assist with the assessment and recording of student progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.

About You:

  • Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for education and working with children.
  • Previous experience in a teaching assistant or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of child development and educational practices.
