Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are recruiting to join a large primary school in Wembley.

• Teaching Assistant required from January on a full time basis, until July 2025. Hours 08:30-15:30pm.
• Work closely with a child in Reception, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment.
• Set clear expectations and boundaries while nurturing the child’s development.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to create and implement personalized learning strategies.
• Encourage social interaction and communication skills through engaging activities.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to the teaching team.

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

• Previous experience working with pupils with ASD is desirable
• Previous experience of the EYFS curriculum is essential

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Hold an enhanced DBS
