About the Role:
A nurturing primary school in Hackney is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support young learners in their early years of education. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for working with children and creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. You will play a vital role in helping children develop essential social, emotional, and academic skills as they embark on their educational journey.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to EYFS children in both individual and group settings, promoting engagement and participation in activities.
- Collaborate with teachers to assist in lesson planning and the delivery of engaging learning experiences.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's development and confidence.
- Assist with the planning and organisation of activities that support children's learning, play, and social interactions.
- Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field is essential.
- Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with children and their families.
- A nurturing and patient approach to supporting children's learning and development.
