GSL Education is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Southwark (SE22). If you have experience working with children individually and in small groups and are available to start immediately, we would love to connect with you!
About the Role:
- Collaborate with the class teacher to support and inspire students to achieve their best.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with Special Educational Needs.
- Support students in building confidence and self-esteem with focused attention and tailored strategies.
- Work with children who may have Autism, ADHD, and/or Challenging Behaviour.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant.
- Capability to provide 1:1 support for children with Special Educational Needs.
- Good understanding of child development and effective learning techniques.
- Strong team player with great communication skills.
- Passionate about helping students grow in confidence and self-esteem.
Important:A strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection is essential. All applicants will need to pass a full background check, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
