Are you enthusiastic about education and eager to support students in a secondary school setting? We are seeking a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Hackney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to teachers, ensuring students remain engaged and focused during lessons.
- Assist students with their learning needs, including one-to-one and small group sessions.
- Help manage classroom behavior, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
- Support students with additional needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), to access the curriculum effectively.
- Contribute to the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with secondary-age students is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A proactive, patient, and supportive approach to working with young people.
- A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential.
