About the Role - Teaching Assistant -Hackney
We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school in Hackney. You will assist teachers in preparing lesson materials, setting up classrooms, supporting students, and monitoring their progress. The role involves providing additional support to students, especially those with special educational needs (SEN) or challenging behaviour. You will work one-on-one or in small groups, offering tailored support to ensure students' academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with lesson preparation and material organization.
- Support students in understanding lesson content.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
- Care for children who are upset or unwell.
- Lead classes or activities under the teacher's guidance.
- Provide tailored learning materials for students with additional needs.
