Position: Teaching Assistant

Pay: 85 - 100 per day
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Full-time, working 1:1 with a child in Year 4

About the role - Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 support to a Year 4 child with SEN (ASD), working in line with their EHCP.
- Help the pupil engage with learning, building confidence and social skills.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to tailor support.
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet the child's individual needs.
- Be a key part of the school's commitment to inclusive education.
Requirements for the Teaching Assistant role:
- Experience working with children, ideally with SEN or ASD.
- A patient, understanding, and compassionate approach to teaching support.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with staff, parents, and the pupil.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to helping children succeed.
- Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
