Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Islington
Pay: 85 - 100 per day
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Full-time, providing 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil

About the role - Teaching Assistant:
- Work as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, supporting a Year 3 child with SEN (ASD).
- Follow the pupil's EHCP, implementing strategies to meet specific needs.
- Support the child's engagement, confidence, and social development in the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals.
- Help create an inclusive, positive learning experience for the pupil.
Requirements for the Teaching Assistant role:
- Prior experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, is ideal.
- A patient, empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
- Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in meeting the pupil's needs.
- Previous experience in a similar Teaching Assistant role is advantageous.
