Reeson Education are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant on behalf of an exceptional primary school based in the heart of lively Hackney.

About the role - Teaching Assistant:

  • Work as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, supporting a Year 1 child with high needs SEN (ASD).
  • Implement strategies outlined in the child's EHCP to support their learning and development.
  • Foster engagement, independence, and positive social interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCO, and external specialists to meet the child's needs.
  • Be an integral part of creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant role:

  • Experience working with SEN, particularly ASD, is highly desirable.
  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Enthusiasm for helping children overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
  • Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant role or similar setting is beneficial.
