The Role - Teaching Assistant (KS1 & KS2 Support)

• Assist the teacher with classroom activities, lesson preparation, and behaviour management.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to ensure all pupils progress.
• Help students with special educational needs (SEN) by implementing individual support plans.
• Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children.
• Support with reading, writing, and numeracy activities.

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant Role:

• Previous experience working in a primary school setting is beneficial.
• A passion for education and supporting young learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and staff.
• A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
