I am seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant (TA) to provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Global Developmental Delay. Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support for Child with ASD and Global Delay)
Location: Camden
Contract: Full-time, 5 days a week
Salary: Daily rate up to 110 depending on experience

Role & Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to meet the child's individual learning and developmental needs.
Implement strategies to support communication, sensory, and emotional regulation.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to adapt learning activities.
Encourage social interaction and promote independence.
Monitor progress and contribute to assessments and reports.

Experience working with children with ASD and/or developmental delays (desirable).
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
Ability to use visual aids, sensory strategies, and communication tools (e.g., PECS, Makaton).
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
