Teaching Assistant - Key Information
- Location: Hackney
- Pay: 85 - 100 per day
- Start Date: Immediate start
- End Date: July 2025
- School: A vibrant two-form entry primary school, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with areas of 'Outstanding'
- Team: Supportive and collaborative staff with excellent leadership
Teaching Assistant - Role Overview:
- Assisting the reception class with learning and development
- Leading phonics sessions to help build strong early reading skills
- Supporting the class teacher with lessons and activities
- Creating an engaging and inclusive learning space
- Working closely with staff to promote the best outcomes for pupils
Teaching Assistant - What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in an early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and phonics teaching
- A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A genuine passion for supporting early childhood education
