A primary school in Greenwich is looking for a Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Dance and Gymnastics to join their team. This exciting role involves supporting LKS2 pupils as a TA while also leading PE lessons in Dance and Gymnastics. The position is full-time, starting after Easter 2025, continuing into the next academic year, and has the potential to become permanent based on performance.
Teaching Assistant - What the Role Involves:
- Supporting the LKS2 teaching team as a classroom Teaching Assistant.
- Delivering high-quality Dance and Gymnastics sessions to primary students.
- Assisting with lesson planning and pupil engagement in both academic and physical education.
- Encouraging confidence, teamwork, and a love for movement in pupils.
Teaching Assistant - What We're Looking For:
- Previous Teaching Assistant experience in a primary school setting.
- Coaching or teaching experience in Dance and/or Gymnastics.
- A confident and proactive approach to leading physical education sessions.
- A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
