Veritas Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Haringey, North London. This role as a Teaching Assistant will involve supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a mainstream classroom. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping students thrive, ensuring they have the necessary support to succeed in their education. Whether you have experience as a Teaching Assistant in a mainstream school or a SEN provision, we'd love to hear from you!

The role is perfect for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs, whether you've worked as a SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, or in a similar role. Experience with school-aged children is essential, and your role will be pivotal in helping them thrive academically and socially.

  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting the diverse needs of students
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential)
